HYPRA by Tim Jockel & Majid Kessab

A visual storm, Jockel delivers a piece centred around dance amplified by animation. Tim Jockel is the film maker who combines reigning Hip Hop World Champion (Juste Debout 2014 & 2017) and winner of Germany's Got to Dance 2014, Majid Kessab's remarkable dance style with riveting animation to deliver this emotive visual experience.

HYPRA is the "dynamic system that merges music, dance and digital art" according to Jockel. Using Majid's phsyical movement, the accompanying animation and music allow the viewer to feel and be moved by dance in a new way. The visual enhancement of each movement intensifies the experience allowing us as the viewer to explore the relationship between movement, performance, art and animation more deeply.
