PANTONE ‘Colour Of The Year 2018’ Ultra Violet

Every year PANTONE manages to keep the worlds of art, design and style in agonising anticipation waiting for the ‘Color Of The Year’ announcement. This year the prolific agency have selected ‘Ultra Violet’ also known as ‘PANTONE 18-3838 TCX’. A divine shade of purple this colour speaks of otherwordly experiences and communicates the ideas of leaving earth, cosmic spirituality and heaven.

Referencing higher consciousness ‘Ultra-Violet’ provides a “kind of creative inspiration...” Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. She goes on to describe it as “a blue-based purple that takes our awareness and potential to a higher level.”
