Back in September 2015, we featured a prominent embroidery artist called Hanecdote in the 'Hybrid Generation' issue and haven't been able to take our eyes off of this infectious craft-centric trend ever since.
The latest embroiderers to capture our attention is Isoi Creative Lab. Based out of design capital Milan, this creative studio develops embroidered illustrations in collaboration with brands and agencies. Founded in 2014, Isoì is an Independent creative lab founded. The creative minds behind the illustration and art direction are Gaia Bernasconi and Daniele Desperati.
Perhaps we are witnessing the early stages of the embroidery trend growing mainstream, commercial legs and becoming more frequently adopted across sectors as a valid and engaging artistic medium.
