We love getting up close and personal with the artists we love. We were thrilled to discover the gorgeous inner workings of Kim Salt's sketchbook. The sketches are all of a time spent in Miami with friends. We love Kim's work and the excellence really doesn't end here, we found ourselves growing more and more smitten with Kim upon disocvering her brilliant Sound and Colour project which featured animated Gifs inspired by the Alabama Shakes album, Sound and Color. Her work is imaginative and give you the sense that you really are being pulled into her wonderfully expansive imagination.

About Kim:
Kimberly Salt is a freelance illustrator based in New York. She primarily specializes in editorial illustration these days, but has also worked with clients to serve their design needs. Her work celebrates the inner magic of the mundane and the unique rhythms of living things. In her spare time, she can often be found sipping coffee, reading comics, or nurturing her small houseplant brigade.
