Here’s something for all Studio Ghibli fans to help relieve the withdrawal symptoms—since the animation studio’s announcement last year that it will be halting production following the retirement of famed director, Hayao Miyazaki.

One of the studio’s animators, Yoshiharu Sato, has helped developed a series of lovely commercials for bread company, Francois. Sato has previously assisted in the directing and designing of My Neighbor Totoro. In his latest venture, the ads promote Francois’ all-natural ‘Slow Bread’ through a mother-daughter pair. After the passing of her husband, the wife runs a family bakery that uses all natural ingredients and yeast, while the daughter helps in deliveries.
The commercials have yet to draw a connection between other characters and the main leads, but they all share the common love of ‘Slow Bread’. Source: Designtaxi
