Uni Qlo X Alexander Wang Heattech

Simple, understated and functional summarises the Heattech collaboration between Alexander Wang and Uni Qlo. The heavyweight fashion giants have come together just in time for winter to give us the practical heat-resistant clothing we need.

Your winter shopping list really isn't complete without a few picks from the collection, seriously. Designed for layering, the collection features twelve styles for women and six for men. Unveiled in New York on Tuesday 23rd of October, the line meets all your basic requirements in the form of vests, leggings, underwear and bodysuits. All combining Uni Qlo's practical aesthetic with Wang's avant-garde signature minimalism. The majority of the collection features a colour scheme that veers towards a more muted palette with black, white and beige minus a splash of on-trend neon present in some items. The price point hovers around the usual for Uni Qlo which is perhaps one of my favourite things about this collab, unlike some brands you don't find yourself trying to justify a huge markup just because a designer is splashed all over what you know to be high street quality. The collection is the answer to everyone's winter fashion prayers, giving you the practical warmth, quality and effortless style that we all seek for the arctic months in the year.
