Jil Sander has been posting what appears to be teaser content on Instagram for what we can only speculate may be the brand's new content hub. showing on the website main header menu as a tab, "NEU" when scrolled over simply shows 'COMING SOON" text. Perhaps this is the work of newly appointed Creative Directors, Lucie and Luke Meier, the husband-and-wife designers who took the helm in April 2017.
Tagging the photographer Mario Sorrenti in each image and referencing the subjects in the photos, the collection of images surpass the conventions of an ordinary Fashion campaign and spills into the genre of portraiture and landscape art. Whilst we are uncertain of what "NEU' will be, the teaser imagery is enough to wet our appetites.
