Disco is making a riotous comeback in the areas of Music and Fashion. Those aged 18-30 may find themselves shuffling to songs that carry the same audio DNA as the tracks their parents were enjoying in the seventies. Alongside having the sound, we are now seeing the influence of disco culture impacting our wardrobes too. Rave culture has been prominent since the sixties and has progressively changed the fashion choices of generations. We are seeing sportwear inspired pieces commonly associated with rave culture and youth fashion merging with disco themes to create sportswear luxe items. A good example of this is the disco pant popularised by American Apparel and now manufactured by a number of retail conglomerates including H&M and Bershka of the Inditex group.
Evidence
1.) Mac Cosmetics: Le Disko Collection
Mac has launched a new collection featuring disco inspired jewel toned palettes and plays heavily on the disco theme for the marketing campaign. View here>

2.) Disco Shit by Cherub
Cherub is a duo from Nashville Tennessee, the members are Jason Huber and Jordan Kelley and they released disco shit in 2014. According to Vice: "Their recent buzz is due in part to the late-blooming virality of "Doses and Mimosas," and a nonstop string of live shows in which they shred on guitars, talk boxes and other on-stage accessories that turn the venue into a sort of disco-fueled brothel." - Vice
3.) Giorgio Moroder - Déjà vu ft. Sia
An intense musical collaboration with a unmistakably strong disco sound complete with bells.
This is a progressing feature stay tuned as we add further evidence as the trend develops.
